A Word From Our Founders

MAS Katy Center community members thought back in 2011 that it is time to advance the educational service the center is providing to higher education, instead of K-12 level only.  Dr.Hamed Ghazali and Dr.Main Alqudah have initiated Al-Huda University as a response to the increasing demand on Islamic education for adults.  A lot of MAS members, community members at large, and the administration of the MAS Katy Center supported the idea and facilitated the birth of this new project.

Since then, Al-Huda University kept structuring its work, stabilizing its finances, and improving its academic performance.  It strives to keep its mission of disseminating Islamic knowledge as authentic and relevant as possible.  Allah willing, Al-Huda will become the center point of the sacred Islamic knowledge in the United States of America.

Our Vision:

Al-Huda University shall be one of the top well-recognized universities in the United States that offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in specialized Islamic fields aiming at preparing leaders for the righteous people.

Our Mission:

Al-Huda University is the place where students gain their graduate and undergraduate degrees in authentic and professional specialized Islamic knowledge that recognizes modern-time realities and allows them to examine different branches of knowledge from an authentic Islamic perspective which enables them to think ethically, logically, analytically, and critically while making responsible and moral decisions aiming at improving the quality of life for all inhabitants of the earth with a full understanding and appreciation of the cultural and human differences.
